Field Notes, Vol. 22 (Soil oath)

Leading the charge down the dried creek bed, and fallen onto a soil scorched by controlled burn. Survival through chance and sheer volume seemingly mocked by simple but strong thunderstorms more and more common during our southern summers. The stories of the forest unfold silently and without a sense for human time.

Two spring moments in infrared and visible spectrum that I thought paired nicely thanks to contrast, shape and theme.
